Intershop is an investor in Swiss property, with a focus on commercial real estate. As at 31st December 2011, the portfolio consisted of some 66 properties with a total leasable area of approx. 565’000 m² and a market value of over CHF 1 billion. Intershop’s portfolio is focused primarily in the main business regions of Switzerland, in particular, those in Zurich, Berne and Geneva. The investment property portfolio provides a strong and secure earnings base thanks to the optimised mix of usage and location, and is further enhanced with the considerable potential of the development property. Intershop has been listed on SIX Swiss Stock Exchange since 1972 (ISIN: CH0017313948).
